This week try to discern what might be common barriers to clarity for you in your conversations. Ask God to help you overcome them. Be intentional with knowing what's in your heart before communication. Take note of the difference that makes. List some ways this series has helped you to appreciate the gift of communication. Thank God for this precious gift.

Can you think of something you have said recently that you realize was not helpful. Prayerfully consider how God might want you to address this issue. Haw can considering whether something is necessary to say help you grow spiritually? Can you think of a time where this has happened? This week in your quiet time read the account of the Triumphal Entry several times and focus on joining Jesus' disciples in praise. Try to remember when you first understood the truth of Jesus a

Think of someone in your life that is consistently kind to you and others. Make it a point to let them know how much you appreciate that quality in them and ask them how that has become such a part of their lives. This week be intentional in sharing the truth in love. Pay attention to how it's recieved. List some of the ways Christ has shown kindness to you. Focus on allowing the Holy Spirit to make these qualities evident in your life.

What seems to be the greatest challenge for you in telling the truth and why? Convenience Consequences Feelings In what ways does the truth of God make a difference in your relationships with others? Think of a specific conversation you need to have this week. How can honoring and pursuing the truth make a difference in that conversation?

How is your communication with God? This week be intentional in listening and observing how God is speaking to you. What seems to be the most common way God speaks to you? Which of the following reasons for communication seem to be a challenge for you? Which are the easiest? Ask a friend their opinion. How does acknowledging the worthiness of God for praise give you confidence? How does it bring humility? This week in your prayer time praise God for specific gifts and talents he has given you. If you have trouble coming up with some ask others what gifts and talents they see in you. What are some of the practical ways this idea that are working for the Lord change your attitude towards your jobs or menial tasks?

This week list 8 to 10 things you know to be God's will and focus on living them out. Is there a life decision you are going to make this year, such as a job change, moving, going deeper in a relationship? Ask someone to join you in praying for God's will in this situation. Then be observant as to how God is leading. Can you think of three areas of your life where your will does not align with God's will? Ask for the strength and discipline necessary to surrender to God's wil

Evaluate your pursuit of Christ. What actions can you take to improve that pursuit? Can you think of a specific challenging time in your life that standing on Christ as your foundation helped you make it through? Prayerfully consider how God might be asking you step out in faith? What is one barrier that is keeping you from sharing your faith? Share this with a friend and ask them to join you in praying for God to remove that barrier.

In what situations do you find it most difficult for your actions and words to match? What are some of the influences in your life that might be trying to take you away from the truth of who Christ is? Look for opportunities to boldly proclaim who Christ is both by word and deed.

·   Is there anything from this morning’s reading that seemed like you were hearing it for the first time? ·   Read the account of The Lord’s Supper (Mark 14:12-26). Note the Disciples response to Jesus’ statement that one of them would betray Him. How do you think you would respond? What does v. 24 mean to you?

This week be intentional about ways you chose to surrender to Jesus. What are some of the greatest challenges for you in practicing Christ-like humility? The transfiguration was proof of Jesus’ divinity. What are some ways you can focus on the divinity of Christ this Christmas season?

How is the power of Jesus evident in your life? Is there a specific situation where knowing nothing is impossible with Him gives you hope? In what ways have you tried to put Jesus in a box or struggled with letting Jesus be Jesus? It is clear that Jesus wants us to tell others about Him. Tell at least one person this week the real meaning of Christmas.

Take time to thank God for the Good News. Be specific in the ways the Good News of Jesus has changed your life. What are some real ways knowing that Jesus is the Messiah makes a difference in how you approach Christmas? What difference does the authority of Jesus make in your life? Read the Gospel of Mark

Is there anything you have been hesitant to ask God for? What is stopping you? Think of a way that God has provided for you in a time of need? What did that show you about God? Be intentional in making giving  thanks a part of your daily prayer time, take note how that changes you?

In what ways do you see the harvest being plentiful? Spend time this week praying for the Lord of the harvest to send out workers. Take notice of how God is answering that prayer and share it with someone. Continue your list of 100 things you are thankful for and bring it with you on November 23.

What are some ways Jesus has shown compassion to you? Be sure to include them in your list of 100 things you are thankful for. In what ways can compassion strengthen your relationship with Jesus? Be intentional this week in observing when you show compassion and when you don’t. What are some ways you can cultivate compassion when you don’t feel it?

Can you think of an example in your life where you’ve experienced negative consequences for your actions? What were those consequences and what did you learn from that experience?  In what ways has a desire to please God impacted your actions? Give an example of the positive consequences you have experienced because of it.  Begin a list of all that you are thankful for.  How big of a role does faith play in your giving? What would it look like if it did?

How does the fact that the seed was cast over all the ground make a difference in how you view you’re responsibility in sharing the Gospel?  Which one of the soils would you say currently describes your openness to the things of the Kingdom of God?  This week focus on what it takes to bear fruit. Take note of how you see fruitfulness occurring in your life.
