Are there some things in life that you pursued to find meaning and purpose, but discovered they did not satisfy? If so, what were they and in what way were you disappointed? Think of a specific season in your life, maybe one mentioned here or another one. What difference has God made in going through that season? How does that fact that God is eternal and offers us eternal life help you through challenging times?

Take time this week to thank God for our rich spiritual heritage and for those who lived out their faith in a new land. As followers of Jesus how should we respond to religious tolerance? Do you see religious tolerance as a good thing?

Do you think that Christians get the reputation of being the more like Jonah? Prayerfully consider how you and New Guilford can help change that? What are some ways that you have experienced God's compassion? Look for ways to show God's compassion to others.

Have you accepted God's invitation to know Him and be on His team? What distraction or obstacles might you currently be facing? Identify them and ask a fellow believer to pray for God's help in getting past them. What is one way that you have experienced God in a real way?

What truth about God's character gives you the greatest reason to worship Him? Where have you seen the goodness of God this week? What am I holding onto that I need to give to Christ, who has already won the victory? -Owen Crawford

In what ways do you find yourself coming under the authority of Scripture? In what ways has it been challenging for you to do so? How can your love for Scripture be contagious? What is one foundational biblical truth that you build your life on? If you are not part of a Bible study group or Bible RECAP group, consider being part of one.

What are some of the things you have thought about leaving behind for your children? Prayerfully consider talking to your children about knowing Christ as their Savior. How have you seen your children display wisdom? Acknowledge it and affirm them. Think of some decisions that you have made in the past couple week. In what ways have they reflected godly wisdom? In what ways have they reflected worldly wisdom?

Take time to acknowledge the generosity of God and consider how that should make a difference in how you pray? Does your prayer life reflect humility or pride? Think of example of both. Solomon asked something for himself, but he had in mind his responsibility to others. What are three things you need from God to fulfill your responsibilities to others. Pray for these things regularly and take notice of when God answers.

How do you see God's will being worked out in your life? What distractions from God's will have you encountered? How have you seen God's faithfulness through those distractions? In what ways can other believers help you stay on course?

In what ways can New Guilford be intentional in equipping & empowering parents to train up their children? How is it evident in your home that you love "The Lord your God with all your heart...?" Other than your parents who has been a major spiritual influence on your life? If you have not told them how much you appreciate them, take time to do so.

In what ways can you prepare for Sunday morning, during the week? What are some of the benefits from corporate worship that you have experienced? How can you contribute to someone else's worship experience? Spend time this week meditating on Psalm 93. How does the eternal worthiness of God impact the way you live your life today?

In what ways have you found the Psalms relatable? Have you been as honest as David in your prayers? this week at the end of each day be very open and honest with God about what you have been feeling. Describe how God has been your refuge in the past.

Identify a giant in your life or one threatening other believers. How is God asking you to respond in obedience and faith? Take that same giant and compare it to God. How does it compare? List ways God is greater.

This week try to discern what might be common barriers to clarity for you in your conversations. Ask God to help you overcome them. Be intentional with knowing what's in your heart before communication. Take note of the difference that makes. List some ways this series has helped you to appreciate the gift of communication. Thank God for this precious gift.

Can you think of something you have said recently that you realize was not helpful. Prayerfully consider how God might want you to address this issue. Haw can considering whether something is necessary to say help you grow spiritually? Can you think of a time where this has happened? This week in your quiet time read the account of the Triumphal Entry several times and focus on joining Jesus' disciples in praise. Try to remember when you first understood the truth of Jesus a

Think of someone in your life that is consistently kind to you and others. Make it a point to let them know how much you appreciate that quality in them and ask them how that has become such a part of their lives. This week be intentional in sharing the truth in love. Pay attention to how it's recieved. List some of the ways Christ has shown kindness to you. Focus on allowing the Holy Spirit to make these qualities evident in your life.

How does acknowledging the worthiness of God for praise give you confidence? How does it bring humility? This week in your prayer time praise God for specific gifts and talents he has given you. If you have trouble coming up with some ask others what gifts and talents they see in you. What are some of the practical ways this idea that are working for the Lord change your attitude towards your jobs or menial tasks?
